Some advice on learning English.

Dean William

When it comes to learning English, there are many different things that one can do to help themself to improve.

Some may say that learning grammar and vocabulary is the most important thing.

Some may say that being able to read and write is the most important thing.

And some will even say that being able to be a good listener is the most important thing.

Well, here’s a truth that many English Teachers in Asia will not tell you, of which should be told.

English is not only about being great at grammar and vocabulary.

English in not about only being able to pass an English test and or exam with very high scores.

English is not only about being a good listener.

English is not only about being a good reader.

And English is not only about being able to understand clearly about what is being said.

English is about all of these things put together along with being able to pronounce every word that is spoken in a clear way with the correct pronunciation.

Like for example:

1. The word usually is not pronounced as urually, but as usually.

2. The word salad is not pronounced as salada, but as salad.

If you are one who’s not properly learning how to correctly pronounce the words and or phrases that’s being taught to you, than you are one who will most likely become easily misunderstood when you are having a conversation with someone in English.

This is not only for English, but for every other language too.

If you are really serious about becoming a better English conversational speaker, it is advisable for you to pay very close attention to how you sound like when you are speaking in English, making sure that you pronounce every word and or phrase that you speak in a clear way with the correct pronunciation.

For those who may be in need with improving their English in a conversational way, feel free to request a lesson time with me.

Thank you.
