皆さん　こんにちは！

日本語教師　＆　カウンセラーの　Yuming.です。

今日は　先日やっと　買うことができた
「ぴよりん」のお話です。
I finally managed to buy one the other day.
It's a Piyorin!

ぴよりんとは、愛知県の地元食材「名古屋コーチン」の卵を使ったプリンで作られた、スイーツです。
ぴよりんは　JR名古屋駅に　います。
Piyorin is a sweet treat, made from pudding with eggs from Nagoya Cochin, a local product of Aichi Prefecture.
They can be bought at JR Nagoya station.

いつも大行列で　すぐに売り切れてしまうのですが
先日　たまたま人が少なくて　ラッキーなことに　買うことができました。

There's always a huge queue and they sell out quickly.

The other day there happened to be a few people and I was lucky enough to be able to buy one.

〜店員さんとの会話〜
店員「いらっしゃいませ！」
Yuming.「ぴよりん　３つ　ください」
店員「ぴよりん　３羽（さんわ）ですね。」
Yuming.「はい！３羽です！」
店員「ありがとうございます！ぴよりんは　揺れに弱いので　気をつけて　お持ちくださいね。」

〜Conversation w/salesperson〜

salesperson: Welcome!

Yuming: I'll have three, please.

salesperson: Three wings, right?

Yuming: Yes, three wings!

salesperson: Thank you very much! Piyorin are sensitive to shaking, so please carry them with care.

鳥は「羽（わ）」と数えます。
ぴよりんの販売員は　ぴよりんの数え方から　ぴよりんを大事にしていると思いました。
Birds are counted as ‘wings’ (wa).
Piyorin, as a bird, is very important to all of us.
They are the animated bird that makes us smile!
