ホワイトデーは、男性がお返しをする日です。
White Day is the day when men give a gift in return.
「ありがとう」と「気持ちにこたえます」という意味があります。
It means "Thank you" or "I feel the same way about you."
何をあげるの？
What do people give?
ホワイトデーには、キャンディーやクッキー、マシュマロをあげることが多いです。
On White Day, people often give candy, cookies, or marshmallows.
他にも、ハンカチやアクセサリー、バッグなどをプレゼントする人もいます。
Some people also give handkerchiefs, accessories, or bags as gifts.
「本命（ほんめい）」の人には、特別なプレゼントをあげます。
For someone special (called honmei), men give a more special gift.

日本では「お返しは3倍（さんばい）がえし」と言うこともあります。
In Japan, there is a saying: "Sanbai gaeshi," which means "return three times the value."
もらったチョコレートの3倍ぐらいのプレゼントをあげるのがマナーだと言われます。
It is said to be polite to give a gift worth about three times the chocolate you received.
でも、これはあくまで「言い伝え」です。
