White day VS Valentine's day

In Japan and Korea, Valentine's Day is a bit different. Women give chocolates to men on February 14th. Then, one month later, on March 14th, it's White Day. On this day, men give gifts back to the women. Usually, they give white chocolate, but they can also give other presents like jewelry or sweets. The kind of gift matters. It can show different feelings. This tradition shows a back-and-forth way of showing affection, unlike in Western countries where Valentine's Day is the main event.
