August Blooms

EnglishKim

August brought an abundance of beautiful blooms to my garden. My main photo is of a biennal plant called Biennal beeblossom. Other plants flowering in my garden in August include two annuals, three perennials, and a shrub.

Wild cucumber (white flowers in the foreground)
Pale jewelweed (yellow flowers in the back) (annuals)

Wild bergamot (purple flowers on the left)
Scarlet beebalm (red flower on the right) (perennials)

Hairy woodmint (perennial)

Shrubby St. John's wort (shrub)

The weather has turned cooler now in late August, but summer flowers are still here. Do you like flowers? Do you have a garden? Book a lesson with me and we can talk about flowers, seasons, weather, or whatever subjects interest you.
