What is guided conversation? It is a little more than casual chat. In my guided conversation classes, we always have a topic to discuss (such as tourism) and a set of questions to provide food for thought. Students get a lot of practice speaking but also listening to the natural speech of a native speaker. At the end of our discussion, if desired, students receive gentle corrections and feedback.
