A story about a little girl from a far away village.

Dean William

Here’s a short story for those who wants to practice their English reading…

Part one:

In a very far away village that’s located in a country where English is rarely spoken, and where mostly old people lived, there was once a cute little girl growing up along with a few other peers that used to play along side a beautiful riverbank.

On any given day, she would pick up cute colored pebbles and name each one, like they were her very own pets.

Some she named Xia Xia Mo, Xia Xia gau, Xia Xia jao, and so on…

She did this over and over again, until she managed to accumulate a whole basket full of pebbles.

Then when she got to the age of 21, her parents sent her away to learn English in a town called Beikongmailong.

While studying English in Beikongmailong, she took up singing, which she did very well.

She created her own songs with her own lyrics that she sang over and over again in a park to make some extra money.

As she was doing this, a recording artist noticed her, and asked her if she wanted to participate in a singing talent competition, which she accepted.

While participating in the talent contest, she sang her own songs, which caused the crowd to be in awe with her lovely sounding voice.

Here’s some of the songs that she sang…

1. To and from with you and I.

2. Here we go again in an old village where I was born.

3. Next to the sweet flowing river with my friends.

4. Him and I together again.

5. My favorite old grandpa together with me.

As she progressed into the competition, she gained a huge following that pushed her into the top 3 spots, which caused her to become extremely very popular throughout her whole country.

And now that we have come to the stage in this story about what happened next, let’s take a break and wait for part two to come out.
