Next Year, I Want to Be Someone Who Can Grow with Confidence

As the year begins to wrap up, I’ve been thinking a lot about the kind of person I want to become next year. For me, the answer is simple: I want to be someone who can grow with confidence. Not perfectly, not quickly—just genuinely and steadily.
Confidence, to me, isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about being willing to learn, try, make mistakes, and keep going. It’s about saying, “I can improve,” and believing it enough to take small steps every day.
I’m already preparing for that version of myself:
-
I’m exploring new teaching ideas so my lessons feel more helpful and enjoyable.
-
I’m learning more about technology, health terms, travel English, and everyday communication—so I can support students in real-life situations.
-
I’m reflecting on what I can do better and celebrating the things I’ve already improved.
-
And most importantly, I’m reminding myself to stay curious, because curiosity leads to growth.
Next year, I want to guide my students with more confidence, more patience, and more understanding. I want to create lessons that make them feel stronger in their English, and I want to continue growing alongside them.
So that’s my goal for the year ahead.
What about you, who do you want to become next year?
Let’s start preparing together. 2026!
