Same message — very different feeling.
Direct (can sound too strong):
- Send it today.
Neutral / polite (most useful):
- Could you send it today?
- Can you send it today? (slightly more direct)
Softer (more polite):
- Would you mind sending it today?
- If possible, could you send it today?
Mini practice (20 seconds):
Make these polite:
- “Reply today.”
- “Join the meeting.”
