In meetings, clarity beats “perfect English.”

Clarify:

  • So you mean (that)…?
  • Do you mean (that)…?

Confirm (polite):

  • Just to confirm, …
  • Let me make sure I understood: …

Mini practice (20 seconds):
Finish these:

  1. So you mean ______?
  2. Just to confirm, ______, right?
