New Lessons for 2026: Dive into Culture, Conversations, and Ancient Wonders

Ray Roshdy

We’re a few weeks into 2026, and I’m excited to share with you some fresh additions to my lesson line-up this year.

Inspired by feedback from students who love immersive topics, I wanted to create options that cater to different interests and group dynamics.

If you’re drawn to history, film, or simply connecting with others, these new classes are designed to spark curiosity while honing your English skills in a relaxed and engaging way.

Below you will find a list of the new lessons, followed by a guide to walk you through all of my current lessons, to make it easier to choose the right fit for your level and interests.

A. Introducing the New Lessons
............................................................

This free, written exchange revives the charm of old-school penpal letters in a modern, digital format.

In a world full of instant replies and short messages, I wanted to create a space where people can actually take time to think and share more meaningful thoughts—without any rush, corrections, or "teaching" pressure.

It's a friendly correspondence in English: tell me about your day, a hobby, something from your culture, a random deep thought, or why you're obsessed with a certain show.

Ideal for all English levels looking for a stress-free way to practice writing without language feedback.

(0 minutes listed, but it’s an ongoing exchange—book to start, it’s for free!)

This one was inspired by how films can spark deep conversations about society, morals, and culture.

We dive into a classic 1960s Egyptian comedy, unpacking its themes which are still relevant today!

I added it for upper-intermediate to advanced students who thrive on thought-provoking talks, blending entertainment with cultural critique.

Perfect if you enjoy philosophy, ethics, culture, or analyzing movies.

Building on the popularity of my solo class, I launched this group version for two students to share the experience—making it more interactive and affordable.

We cover Egyptian gods, pharaohs, and monuments while practicing English through reading and discussions.

I created it to foster collaboration and diverse perspectives, ideal for intermediate to advanced learners who enjoy group settings.

(Listed as 0 minutes, but actual sessions are 50 minutes; requires exactly two bookings per slot.)

Drawing from my love for Egypt’s rich history, I created this beginner-friendly course to make ancient stories accessible without overwhelming language barriers.

Using simple English (A2-B1 level), we explore gods, pharaohs, pyramids, and daily life through culture focused-topics, not focused on English leanring.

Great for curious learners who want light, enjoyable sessions on mysteries and myths.
