Staying focused in an online class is hard. At home, many things can distract you. Your bed might make you feel sleepy. Your phone wants you to check messages. Even your family can make noise. To focus better, you need a special place for studying.
Find a quiet corner and keep it clean.
Put your phone away where you cannot see it. When your desk is only for class, your brain knows it is time to listen and learn.
It is also important to be active in class. Do not just sit and watch the screen.
>Take notes with a pen and paper. This helps you remember.
>Try to answer the teacher’s questions in the chat.
>Do not open other websites or games on your computer.
If you focus for 30 minutes, you will understand the lesson better. Then, after class, you can relax and do other things you enjoy.
