English and Springtime

Lady Ayame

Dear Cafetalk students and community,

Every spring, my thoughts drift to Japan. I imagine soft cherry blossom petals floating through the air and quiet temple paths lined with pink trees. In my daydream, I am wearing a beautiful kimono and standing in front of the famous torii gates at Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, surrounded by the gentle feeling of a new season beginning.

Spring in Japan represents renewal and fresh starts, and in many ways, learning English feels the same. Each new word, each brave attempt to speak, and each conversation is like a cherry blossom beginning to bloom.

One of my dreams is to visit Japan and finally meet my wonderful students there in person. After sharing so many lessons together online, I often imagine walking beneath the cherry blossoms with my students, practicing English while enjoying the beauty of the season.

Until that day comes, I am very happy that our lessons allow us to connect across the world. Just like cherry blossoms bloom little by little, English confidence grows step by step.

I hope you will join me for a lesson and continue this journey together.

Warmest regards,

Lady Ayame
