5 Simple study tips that really work

Weekly Topic: 5 simple study tips that really work

khanyi M

1. Study in short sessions

Instead of studying for hours, break your time into 25–30 minute sessions with short breaks in between.
This keeps your brain fresh and improves focus.

2. Teach what you learn

After studying, explain the topic out loud as if you're teaching someone else.
If you can explain it simply, you really understand it.

3. Remove distractions

Put your phone away or on silent and study in a quiet space.
Less distraction = better concentration and faster learning.

4. Use active recall

Close your book and try to remember what you just studied.
This strengthens memory much more than just re-reading.

5. Stay consistent

Study a little every day instead of cramming the night before.
Consistency beats last-minute studying every time.
