When I was younger, I never imagined that teaching English would become such an important part of my life. Today, I can't imagine doing anything else.
I became a tutor because I love helping people grow in confidence. Learning a new language can feel scary, especially when you're worried about making mistakes. I wanted to create a classroom where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and learning at their own pace.
One of my favorite moments as a teacher is seeing a student realize they can express themselves in English without translating every word. Those small victories are what make teaching so rewarding.
As an English tutor from South Africa with several years of online teaching experience, I've met students from many different countries. Every learner has their own goals—some want to travel, others need English for work, school, or simply to make friends around the world. Being part of that journey is a privilege.
In my lessons, I focus on creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, interactive, and personalized to each student's needs. Whether we're practicing conversation, improving grammar, or building vocabulary, my goal is to help every student leave the lesson feeling more confident than when they arrived.
