The teacher introduces the topic with a powerpoint presentation on the following topic - "What do you do to relieve stress?"
The strudents can read the various ideas that are given in to ease stress .
The teacher , then , asks students to give their own ideas or ways to relieve stress . Students talk about about what stresses them out or annoys them and what ways they combat that stress .
Extension questions ( for more advanced students ) may be as follows :
In Japan , is there enough attention given to stress related illness?
How do you cope with stress at work or school ?
What exercise or other method of stress relief would you like to try ?
