In this "English for traveling" class, we will cover everything from packing, getting to the airport, check-in, interactions with flight attendants and immigration and customs officers to checking in at your hotel and exploring the city: eating out, visiting museums and landmarks, sightseeing, shopping and, meeting new people.
We will focus on vocabulary and useful phrases you can use at any airport around the world. We will practice reading and understanding signs and general information and speaking through role-playing. The goal of this class is to give you a general knowledge of phrases and vocabulary commonly used in travel settings so that you can feel confident about traveling abroad.
