Dear student,
so far you've probably realised that language can't be separate from culture - they come in a pack and in order to learn a language, one must be familiar with the culture of the country. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to understand why people act in a certain way in specific situations, what is polite and what is not and you probably would be considered rude when trying to be funny.
In these lessons, you will be immersed in the English language by learning about the history and culture of those countries where English is spoken. We will read short articles and watch short videos, as well as do crazy and fun quizzes where you'll show off your knowledge.
These lessons have 2 levels: kids and adults. Kids learn some simple and basic things, while grownups go more into depth when it comes to the culture of the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
If you are a competitive and curious person thirsty for knowledge, this is the right type of lesson for you. This lesson will NOT focus on the language directly. We're going to correct your mistakes on the way as you make them, and the learning process is going to be more indirect.
In this way, language is not LEARNED as much as it is ACQUIRED - which is the preferred way of learning a language (we acquire our mother tongue).
