Welcome to a personalized writing improvement experience! In this lesson, I will meticulously review your written work, provide detailed notes, and return it promptly. I encourage you to experiment with new phrases and styles of writing. If you're trying out a new word or phrase and are unsure about it, feel free to note it down, and I'll give it special attention.
While I prefer working in Microsoft Word, I am flexible with Google Docs and other formats. Simply send me your writing, and I'll handle the rest!
Before submitting your work, I recommend using the following checklist. This practice will help you catch your own mistakes, an invaluable skill for any writer.
**Mechanics Checklist**:
- Ensure the first word in every sentence is capitalized.
- Capitalize all proper nouns.
- End each sentence with a period, question mark, or exclamation point.
- Check for correct spelling.
- Indent the beginning of each new paragraph.
**Grammar Checklist**:
- Confirm each sentence is a complete thought with a subject and a verb.
