課程介紹
Would you like to practise your Russian through interesting texts and engaging discussion? Bring something you’re genuinely interested in, and we’ll turn it into a Russian reading and discussion lesson.
Your text could be about everyday life, travel, culture, current topics, hobbies, experiences, future plans, studies, work, or anything else you find interesting. It could be a short story, article, blog post, or another type of text. The focus is on informal, everyday topics rather than professional, technical or academic texts.
How does the lesson work?
Before the lesson, choose a short text you’d like to read and discuss and send it to me in advance. This gives me a chance to look through it, identify key vocabulary and useful expressions, and prepare questions or prompts to help our discussion develop naturally.
During the lesson, we’ll read the text together. We’ll explore the main ideas, clarify vocabulary and expressions where useful, and use the text as a starting point for sharing opinions, experiences and perspectives.
You don’t need to prepare anything else in advance. I’ll guide the discussion and adapt the pace and level of support to your level of Russian and to the text we’re working with.
Not sure what to choose? Just let me know what you’re interested in, and we can find a suitable text together.
Beginners are welcome, provided they can already read basic Cyrillic. If you’re a beginner, I recommend choosing a short, accessible text that we can explore together.
This lesson is for you if you’d like to develop your Russian reading skills, expand your vocabulary, and practise expressing your thoughts and opinions in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.
