课程介绍
This course is all about Writing.
If you know what to say and how to say basic words and sentences, and want to improve Korean skill, try this course!
----- Course Timeline -----
1. Try write anything under 100 words (not characters).
* If it is not a journal, but a school report, essay, business e-mail, regular e-mail, text message, script from a video/tv show/drama, tattoo wording, song lyrics,..etc., it's hard to be corrected and learn Korean. Try write your own story.
What is good to write?
- Your daily activities/ routines.
- Cultures. (We do this this this for this this this. We celebrate New Years Day and we do something something...)
- A big milestone in your life (engagement, graduation.)
- Your history, what you did when you were a kid.
- Something you are happy / glad with (birthday / anything can be celebrated) or tired / sick of (your teacher was mean to you, you were sick but still had to go to work)
2. Send me!
3. I will get back to you
4. Ask me questions :)
5. Answer your questions.
Thank you, I hope to see you soon!

Sentence by students
=> Corrections / Suggestions
Example 1
"마리나씨, 요즘 어떻게 지내요?
=> 마리나씨, 요즘 어떻게 지내세요? (a bit polite)
=> 마리나씨, 요즘 어떻게 지내시나요? (more formal)
저는 요즘에 좀 바빠요.
=> Good Good
대학교에 많이 공부도 하고 회사에 많이 일도 해요. 정신이 없어요.
=> 대학교에서 공부도 많이 하고 회사에서 일도 많이 해요. 정신이 없어요
=> 대학교에서 공부도 많이 하고 회사에서 일도 많이 해요. 정신이 (하나도) 없어요
We put the adverbs after the objects :)
For 3rd one, I put 하나도 for more native like sentence.
그런데 다음 주에는 시간이 있어요. 즐거워요.
=> 그런데(근데) 다음 주엔 시간이 생겨요. 즐거워요.
=> 그런데(근데) 다음 주엔 시간이 나요. 즐거워요.
When you say 시간이 있다, it seems like you have open time to arrange meetings with your friends or so, with the person you wrote for.
But when you say '시간이 생겨요' it just means that you have some free time.
'시간이 나요' means you have free time, in real native Korean words.
그래서 집에 쉴거예요.
=>Good!
haha, you should try 시간이 나요 to your native korean friends sometime,
they will be surprised to hear that. It's not easy for non Korean people to learn from textbook :)
See you!"
Example 2
"한국어로 일기 쓰는 것은 이거 바로 처음이다.
=> 한국어로 일기(를) 쓰는 것이 처음이다.
You can sometimes ignore the prepositions,
'바로' means just, and it's not fit for this sentence.
난 쓰지 잘 못 하는데 열심히 할게~
=> 난 잘 쓰지 못하지만 열심히 할게
=> 난 잘 못 쓰지만 열심히 할게
Both are kinda same, but the 3rd one is more native-like.
오늘 아침에 새벽 세시 벌써 일어났다.
=> 오늘 아침 새벽 세시에 이미 일어나 있었다.
* 벌써=already / 이미=already, yet
어젯 밤에 너무 더워서[더웠어서(?)] 잠 잘 못 잤다.
=> 어제 밤에 너무 더워서 잠을 잘 못 잤다 (It was hot last night ~
=> 어제 밤에 너무 더웠어서 잠을 잘 못 잤다 (It's been too hot last night ~
Same past tenses! :) Good job!
그래서 학교에 있었을때 너무 졸렸다(?)
=> 그래서 학교에 있었을 때 너무 졸렸다
=> 그래서 학교에서 너무 졸렸다
Good!
집에 도착하자마자 잠 들고 오후 네시에 잠에서 깨어났다
=> 집에 도착하자마 잠이 들어 오후 네시에 (잠에서) 깼다
when you say 깨어났다, you sound like you were being woken up by ... mom's yelling or something.
오늘밤은 공부 해야하는데 웹툰 좀 읽고 싶다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
=> 오늘 밤은 공부를 해야하는 데 웹툰 좀 읽고 싶다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
=> 오늘 밤엔 공부를 해야되는 데 웹툰 좀 읽고 싶다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
은 a bit sounds like you didn't study last night,
엔 a lot sounds like you didn't study for a bit, few days in a row (sorry!)"
