4 WEEK SCENE STUDY
Week 1 - Cold reading - break down the script; your character’s needs, relationship to your scene partner and emotional truth
Week 2 - Emotional exercise - how can you relate to your character’s emotional core?
Week 3 - Blocking - how to block your scene - what can you do besides delivering your lines?
Week 4 - Performance - now you know your character and scene - is it time to surrender yourself in a scene without being worried if you’re acting well?
I provide you with a short scene ( 2 - 3 pages long) on a day, week 1. After breaking down your script, how to approach your scene?
Here are your goals at the end of the workshop.
Week 1 - Understanding how to portray your character and scene precisely.
Week 2 - Becoming vulnerable. Understanding the Importance of having a true emotion in a scene.
Week 3 - Understanding how physical behavior or “doing” things helps you to serve the story.
Week 4 - How to be. Not to pretend.
