Japanese Free Talk Through Your Interests | Cars, Motorcycles & Travel
Descrizioni
Have you finished your Japanese textbooks, but still find it difficult to find the right words when you actually speak? This is a Japanese-only conversation lesson for intermediate and advanced learners who want to improve their speaking skills through topics they genuinely enjoy.
The main themes are cars, motorcycles, and travel. I have been passionate about vehicles for more han 33 years,

during which I have owned and ridden more than 30 motorcycles and driven more than 20 cars. I have also traveled to many parts of Japan by motorcycle and car.
Because of this experience, we can go beyond small talk and talk in detail about roads, vehicles, travel destinations, and experiences in Japan.
I believe that when you have something you genuinely want to talk about, the words come more naturally.
My goal is to turn Japanese speaking practice from a chore into an enjoyable opportunity to talk about the things you love.

How the Lesson Works
At the beginning, we choose one topic you’d like to talk about.
For example:
・A place in Japan you’d like to visit
・Driving or riding in Japan
・Japanese traffic and transportation
・Cars or motorcycles you like
・Travel experiences
・Everyday life in Japan
You are then free to talk in Japanese.
I mainly listen and keep the conversation moving. If you use an unnatural expression or there is a more natural way to say something, I will quietly make a note of it in the chat box without interrupting the conversation.
After the lesson, I will send you a feedback sheet summarizing what we talked about, more natural expressions, and new vocabulary from the conversation.
So the lesson doesn’t simply end when the conversation is over. You will have something to review and use in your next conversation.
Japanese Only — That’s Okay!
The lesson is conducted entirely in Japanese, from beginning to end.
I do not use English, Chinese, or other languages during the lesson.
If something is difficult to understand, I will explain it again using simpler Japanese. If necessary, I can write the word or expression in kanji in the chat box.
For learners who can read kanji, seeing the written form can often make a word easier to understand, even when it is difficult to catch by ear.
And don’t worry if you get stuck while speaking.
It’s completely okay to pause, think, or say:
And don’t worry if you get stuck while speaking.
It’s completely okay to pause, think, or ask me to repeat something.
Even asking for clarification is a natural and useful part of Japanese conversation practice.
Being able to use phrases like this is also an important part of learning real Japanese conversation.
Who Is This Lesson For?
This lesson is especially suitable for learners who:
- Have studied Japanese up to around JLPT N2 level, but don’t have enough opportunities to speak
- Enjoy cars, motorcycles, or traveling and want to talk about their interests in Japanese
- Are interested in traveling around Japan or learning about Japanese culture
- Want to experience natural, everyday Japanese conversation
- Are looking for someone they can comfortably talk to in Japanese
The important thing is simply to start talking about something you enjoy, in Japanese.
I’ll be there to listen, keep the conversation going, and help you express yourself more naturally.
I look forward to talking with you!
