Lesson Introduction
English is full of colorful idioms inspired by animals and nature. These expressions often describe human behavior in creative ways.
Interestingly, many cultures across Africa also use proverbs based on animals and nature to teach life lessons.
In this lesson, students will explore several English idioms and compare them with African proverbs that express similar wisdom about life, people, and decisions.
The goal is to help students understand idioms deeply and use them naturally in conversation.
