This course is helpful for intermediate and advanced students
These lessons cover a wide range of language skills needed to succeed in an English-speaking business environment.
They use examples of common workplace situations to help students communicate in a professional and appropriate manner.
This includes:
1- The basics of Business communication: vocabulary and language skills needed for common business activities, such as writing an email or giving a presentation.
2- Socialising: common expressions used in many informal business situations, such as networking events or welcoming a new employee.
3- Telephone Skills: language skills and etiquette needed for business-related phone conversations, such as placing an order or making an appointment.
4- Conversation: business situations that require careful word choice or cultural knowledge, such as apologizing or asking for a promotion.
5- Meetings: types of business meetings and the tasks they involve, such as giving a presentation or describing charts and graphs.
6- Negotionations: the language skills needed to effectively negotiate in different business situations, such as processing an order or handling customer complaints.
