LEVEL SPECIFIC INTENSIVE GRAMMAR PRACTICE
Your spoken English will steadily improve over time if you practice the exercises in the lessons repeatedly with the help of an experienced English grammar tutor.
Each lesson can be completed in 60 minutes.
• 20 minutes will be spent reading through and explaining the day’s lesson.
The difference between a native speaker and a non-native is the ability to use grammar correctly in everyday speech. By learning how to use grammar with a native speaking tutor, you can develop your English speaking skills in practice, as you go along.
The best way to perfect your use of English grammar is to practice it regularly with a native speaker.
In these lessons, we will use what many English teachers consider to be the leading English grammar textbook: Grammar in Use, by Raymond Murphy (Cambridge University Press).
The book title…Grammar in Use…tells you why this is such a great series. The grammar explained in the texts is the grammar we actually USE in daily conversation.
A level check will be made in the trial lesson to decide which level of Grammar in Use we should start with.
• 20 minutes will be spent reading through and explaining the day’s lesson.
• 40 minutes will be devoted to doing the exercises with your tutor and creating our own real-life practice examples.
