Tutored Study of English Language Film To Improve Comprehension, Vocabulary and Cultural Understanding.
課程介紹
Here learners of English from Intermediate to Advanced Levels can learn more about films from a variety of countries and cultures whilst developing advance listening and comprehension skills. The course includes ways for students to enjoy and discover new and old favourites and follow fandoms into an authentic area.
As the Student develops their understanding, the tutor can introduces elements of Film Studies and Media Studies so the Student can further their understanding to an academic level and learn two disciplines simultaneously. This will naturally and understably introduce very advanced vocabulary and texts, if the student feels they are ready.
These lessons make use of home study which will expose students to hearing English on their computers and TVs regularly. This is critical in developing fluency.
