1. Refining Facial Features
2. Advanced Shading Techniques
3. Understanding Skin Tones and Textures
4. Drawing Different Angles
5. Facial Expressions

Advanced Level:
1. Mastering Fine Details
2. Creating Depth & Realism
3. Proportional Accuracy & Refinement
4. Personal Style Development
5. Dynamic Compositions

Materials Needed for this Portraiture Drawing Lesson:

  1. Drawing Paper

    • Smooth, heavyweight sketching paper (70-100 lb, acid-free)
    • Tooth texture paper (optional)

  2. Pencils

    • Graphite pencils (H, 2B, 4B, 6B)
    • Colored pencils (optional)

  3. Erasers

    • Kneaded eraser
    • Precision tip eraser
    • Hard rubber eraser

  4. Blending Tools

    • Tortillons or blending stumps
    • Soft cloth or tissue

  5. Sharpener

    • High-quality pencil sharpener

  6. Ruler/Proportional Divider (Optional)

    • Ruler or proportional divider

  7. Reference Images

    • High-quality photos or live models

  8. Charcoal Pencils or Sticks (Optional)
