Laying the foundation
課程介紹
This lesson aims to meet and greet with students, explain the upcoming course and its purpose and also provides a background and introduction to English Studies, mainly focussing on Literature.
The lesson would be informal and a detailed powerpoint presentation would contain all relevent information which would be made available to students for downloading after the lesson.
The setting would be a class discussion where I would also like to get a feeling for what students hope to get from the lessons, what their personal aims and motivations are and to establish an accord with my method of teaching, which is a very personal and open approach which takes into account all students' own opinions and aims to develop their critical thinking skills.The main skills covered in this course would also be discussed.
Great for students who are proficient in English and who would like to further their skills in the language through a literature medium. Focus will also be placed on academic writing.
