课程介绍
The didactic approach of my courses is the task approach. This means that the students are the protagonists of their learning process and my task as a teacher is to guide them. At the end of the course, you must complete an assignment where you show what you have learned in the classes developed.
The final work will not have a grade, but it will have feedback. The goal of this feedback is to help you to continue your language learning. I hope you enjoy the learning process.
You will learn to introduce yourself in Spanish telling your name, country, nationality, language, age and profession. We'll focus on Writing and Speaking using those abilities.
FINAL ASSIGNMENT
First part
You will have to write a text in Spanish (no more than 100 words). In that text, you will have to introduce yourself adding information about nationality, occupation (student/profession), age, nationality and language.
Second part
You will have to introduce yourself to the class. You will have 3 minutes to introduce yourself: say hello, tell us your nationality, profession, age, and language, and say goodbye in Spanish.
LESSON PLAN
Lesson 1
Contents: names of countries. Adjectives of nationality. Professions. Verbs "ser", "llamarse" and "vivir".
Activity: introduce yourself in Spanish and say which country you are from.
Lesson name: Introduce yourself in Spanish
We’ll focus on grammar. You’ll learn: the country's name and nationalities, professions and the verbs “ser” “llamarse” and “vivir”. You will speak using what we studied.
Lesson 2
Contents: Numbers from 0 to 100. Gender and numbers in adjectives. Verbs "tener" and "trabajar".
Activity: introduce yourself in Spanish and indicate your age and what you do for a living.
Lesson name: Tell us your age and your job.
We’ll focus on grammar and speaking. You’ll learn numbers from 0 to 100 and the verbs “tener” and “trabajar”. After the grammar lesson, you will speak.
Lesson 3
Contents: Languages. Verbs "hablar" and "aprender". Present continuous. Interrogative pronouns.
Activity: Say which languages each person speaks and ask questions to another participant. Write a short text in which each participant introduces him/herself.
Lesson name: Tell us your language and ask other students.
We’ll focus on vocabulary, speaking and writing. You’ll learn how to name some languages and ask basic questions in Spanish. You’ll start an introduction writing.
Lesson 4
Contents: review of course topics.
Activity: introduction of the students in Spanish. Personal feedback of each piece of writing.
Lesson name: Review and speaking.
You will have to introduce yourself in Spanish to other students and we will work on your writing skills.
