课程介绍
This unique modeled reading lesson transforms the reading experience into a thrilling detective mission. Students become active investigators who search for and use clues within the text to figure out the story's secrets.
It moves beyond simple read-alouds by focusing on making smart guesses (inference), finding proof in the text (evidence-based reasoning), and predicting what will happen next.
Crucially, this lesson uses the text to build strong vocabulary and explore how sentences are put together (sentence structure).
Students will discover that great readers don't just read the words; they actively use textual evidence (the clues) combined with what they already know to form educated theories about the characters, the plot, and the events in a story. This lesson directly connects reading to strong critical thinking and confident verbal communication.
