課程介紹
Do you have a job interview in English and want to feel more confident and prepared?
This 30-minute lesson is for intermediate to advanced English learners who want practical speaking practice before a job interview.
We’ll work with interview questions relevant to the type of position you are applying for and practise how to answer them clearly, naturally and professionally in English.
Rather than memorising scripted answers, I’ll help you organise your ideas, improve your vocabulary and phrasing, and communicate your experience and strengths more effectively.
We can practise common interview areas such as:
• introducing yourself and talking about your experience
• describing your skills and strengths
• explaining your current or previous role
• discussing achievements and challenges
• explaining why you are interested in a position
• answering behavioural and situational questions
• asking appropriate questions at the end of an interview
As you answer, I’ll give you feedback on your English and help you improve unclear or unnatural phrasing, important grammar mistakes and pronunciation where needed.
This lesson can help you:
• feel more confident answering interview questions in English
• structure your answers more effectively
• communicate your experience clearly and professionally
• use more natural and appropriate vocabulary
• identify language that could be improved before your real interview
• practise speaking under interview-style conditions
I’m a native British English teacher from the UK with a Level 5 TEFL qualification and a Business English qualification.
Before your lesson
To help me prepare relevant questions for you, please send me a short message when you book telling me:
• the job or type of role you are applying for
• your industry or field
• your current English level, if known
• when your interview is, if you already have a date
• anything in particular you would like to practise
If you have a job description or advert, you can also send it to me before the lesson so I can tailor the questions more closely to the position.
