Rain or Shine
课程介绍
I will start out by going over common words related to the weather, such as "sunny", "rainy", "windy", "cloudy", "snowy", "hot", "cold", etc. I will also introduce common phrases heard in conversations about the weather, such as "How is the weather today?/What is the weather like today?", "It is...(sunny/rainy/etc.)," "It's nice today," etc. I will then show a picture of an outdoor scene and have the student describe the weather. They can use sentences such as: "It is hot and sunny. It is not rainy or cold." I will then pose some questions to start a discussion about the weather. Some questions could include: "What is the weather like where you are?", "What kind of weather do you like? Do you like it when it is hot/warm/cool/cold?", "What is your favorite season? Why?", "What do you wear when it is sunny/rainy/snowy?", "What do you like to do on days when it is sunny/rainy/snowy?", "What is the weather usually like where you live?", etc. These questions can serve as prompts from which we can elaborate into a discussion about the weather.
