課程介紹
This course is the intermediate mandarin course to reinforce your mastery of beginning Chinese and develop your language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing by introducing more advanced grammar, vocabulary and idiomatic expressions in a communicative and interactive environment. Emphasis will be given to pronunciation, accurate tones and mastery of grammar and new phrases. Students will learn the following by the end of series of the classes:
(1) approximately 200 words with the ability to read 210 characters and write 180 characters (2) to interact in social conversations within given contexts and topics introduced in the textbooks, such as ordering Chinese food, asking directions, seeing a doctor, renting an apartment etc. (3) to understand some elements in Chinese culture and form links with their own culture
