Recipes in Spanish
課程介紹
This is a lesson targeted to students of an intermediate level.
The lesson is subdivided in three big areas: pre-writing, writing and post-writing. The goal is to write a recipe in Spanish.
First off, for pre-writing we start by looking at examples of authentic recipes and identifying the vocabulary and different verb forms needed to write a recipe. After this, we'll talk about he different meanings & uses those different verbs have. Having done that, we can focus on the formal aspect of them, and practice to get these forms systematized.
For the writing step, we will talk about the importance of the situation & context: Who are we writing this recipe to? What for? Is it for a friend or a magazine? After we have that set-up, we can start brainstorming and making our drafts. The cool thing about drafts is that they are not the final version, meaning we can change them as many times as we need until we are satisfied with the result!
After we get to the final version of the recipe, the post-writing activity involves a presentation of the final text!
