课程介绍
When working at a Japanese company, you may find yourself wondering:
“I studied keigo, but what should I actually say at work?”
“Is this the right way to report something to my manager?”
“How can I politely explain that I can’t complete a task as requested?”
These situations happen all the time in the Japanese workplace.
In this lesson, I use my own professional experience in systems and infrastructure-related work and as an area manager to teach practical expressions commonly used in Japanese workplaces.
Instead of memorizing lots of complicated keigo rules, you’ll learn useful expressions as ready-to-use chunks, such as:
確認いたします。
I’ll check.念のため確認させてください。
Let me confirm just to make sure.〇〇という認識でよろしいでしょうか。
Is my understanding correct that ...?確認して折り返します。
I’ll check and get back to you.申し訳ありません。少しお時間をいただけますか。

The goal is to learn Japanese that you can actually use at work.
Choose the Situation You Want to Practice

50-Minute Lesson Flow
① Situation
Understand a realistic workplace scenario
② Chunks
Learn 3–5 useful expressions for that situation
③ Practice
Practice short conversations using the expressions
④ Role-play
Practice with me as your manager, colleague, customer, etc.
⑤ Your Situation
Use what you learned to talk about situations from your own workplace
For example:
Manager: 「この資料、今日中にお願いできますか？」
“Could you finish this document by the end of today?”But you already have other work and cannot finish it today.
