Taking Cambridge AS & A Level Maths (9709) — Year 12–13 / Grade 11–12? I teach 9709 full-time at an international school, so I know exactly what the mark schemes reward.
What we cover: Pure Mathematics 1 & 3 (Papers 1 and 3) and Probability & Statistics 1 & 2 (Papers 5 and 6): algebra, functions, trigonometry, calculus, vectors, complex numbers, differential equations, distributions, hypothesis testing.
How we work:
- Real Cambridge past papers, marked with the official mark scheme (M, A and B marks), so you see where marks are lost.
- My own worksheets with scorecards and short homework between lessons to track progress.
- GeoGebra and Desmos to make hard ideas visual.
Good for: closing topic gaps, exam preparation for May/June or Oct/Nov, resits.
Lessons in English or Russian.
