Getting 'get': it's a very useful verb!

Do you know the word get? Of course you do! But did you know that get can have lots of different meanings?
In this lesson, we'll explore some of the most common ways we use get in everyday English. Through fun activities, you'll learn to recognise get, understand what it means, and use it more confidently when speaking.
Lesson format:
- Speaking activity: use get in conversation.
- Short reading activity: notice different examples of get.
- Matching activity: match examples of get with their meanings.
- Speaking activity: use get in conversation, again!
If you would like some get homework, I can get you some, too!
Suitable for upper-primary, junior high and secondary school students from pre-intermediate to intermediate level.
More advanced students are welcome too! Let me know your level when you request the lesson and I will adjust the activities to suit you.
