Some symptoms of depression are:

  • extreme sadness
  • decreased appetite; decreased motivation
  • lack of concentration
  • insomnia
  • excessive sleeping (especially during the day)
  • withdrawal from social activities
  • preoccupation with feelings of low self-worth
  • isolation

Ask yourself two questions:

  1. 1.How often do I feel this way?
  2. 2.How long does the feeling last?
