A structured starting point for young English learners
Recommended Level & Age
Target: Beginner elementary-school students
Suggested age: Approximately Grade 2–4, depending on experience
New students with little or no previous English experience are generally recommended to begin with this level.
The course can also be suitable for children who have studied some English before but still need to strengthen basic phonics, vocabulary, reading, and sentence-building skills.
This course is available for elementary-school students and above. It is not designed for preschool-aged children.
Building the Basics Step by Step
The course begins with alphabet and sound recognition before moving into basic reading, speaking, and sentence-building activities.
Students learn to understand and respond to simple questions and gradually begin producing short sentences more independently.
New language is introduced gradually and reviewed regularly so that students can build on what they have already learned.
What Students May Learn
Topics may include:
- alphabet and introductory phonics
- greetings and classroom language
- numbers, colors, and shapes
- actions and basic verbs
- animals, food, and family
- weather, seasons, and days of the week
- jobs and everyday people
- basic adjectives and simple sentence patterns
The focus is not only on learning individual words, but on helping students gradually use those words in meaningful sentences.
Learning Through Activities
Lessons include a variety of structured activities to help children practice English actively.
Depending on the lesson, students may do:
- phonics and spelling activities
- picture-based vocabulary games
- drawing and guessing activities
- gesture and acting games
- question-and-answer practice
- simple roleplays
- memory and review activities
- short reading and speaking tasks
Activities are chosen according to the student's age, ability, and the language being practiced.
Structured Review & Progress
Lessons are connected rather than taught as isolated topics. Vocabulary, phonics, grammar, and sentence patterns are regularly recycled in future lessons.
This gives students repeated opportunities to remember what they learned, use it again, and become more independent over time.
As students become more confident, activities gradually require less support and more original English production.
Homework
Homework is available after every lesson. Homework may include phonics, vocabulary, spelling, reading, grammar, or short review activities connected to the lesson. Students are strongly encouraged to do the homework!
Regular review between lessons can help children remember new language and make steadier progress.
Recommended for children who are ready to build a strong English foundation step by step.
