Correcting Your Writing- Proofreading up to 500 words of your writing
This proofreading lesson is to help you improve your writing skills by receiving constructive feedback on your written work.
You will submit up to 500 words of your written work (article, business documents, emails, instruction manuals, speeches, technical documents, product descriptions), which will be proofread and returned to you in 24 hours. You will need to submit your document as a PDF, Powerpoint or Microsoft Word file. During the proofreading process, your writing will be carefully examined for errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax and corrections made. Your errors will be corrected and you will receive written feedback on the errors made and how to avoid them for future writing.
Once your writing has been returned to you with the necessary corrections, you will have the opportunity to ask up to 5 questions about the feedback that you received. This will allow you to gain a deeper understanding of the errors you made and how to avoid them in the future. The goal of this lesson is to help you develop better writing habits and thus improve your overall writing abilities.
For you to get the most out of this lesson, I recommend that you submit written work that is representative of your current writing ability. This will allow me to provide you with more personalized feedback tailored to your needs. By following the feedback, you will receive, and implementing the recommended changes, you should see an improvement in your writing over time.
