課程應按時間順序預約，即第 2 堂課程的時間應在第 1 堂之後。以此類推。
課程介紹
Suggested ages 4 to 6 years and 7 to 9.
The aim of Jolly Phonics is to teach children how to read, write and speak English through an early systematic phonics programme.
Children are taught the main 42 sounds, phonemes of English and then taken through the stages of blending those sounds with the use of unique songs and actions.
1 Phonic per 25-minute lesson. 5 phonics in each book. 7 books.
There are 5 main areas or standards of the programme...
Teaching the English phonemes, sounds.
Teaching English letter formations.
Blending for reading.
Identifying the sounds in words for writing.
Tricky words, irregular words in English.
All these objectives are taught at the same time. One new sound each class, plus revision and the use of assessments with module lessons.
The key advantage of this system is that it can be taught from an early age, and the sounds are introduced from the very start. It teaches the children to relate these sounds with a symbol, action, and song, so they can understand the English alphabetic code used for reading and writing much quicker and easier.
As a result, the students' achievement level is much higher. And of course, they are enjoying learning much more.
Every class will have the objectives of..
Introduction or revision.
To learn a new sound. 7 books, covering 5 sounds, phonemes, per book.
To learn a new action and song relating to that sound.
To complete a sound sheet. *See attached*
To learn a new noun related to the sound of the day. I.e. Apple for A.
To complete activities or games relating to the sound and/or noun of the day. I.e. Art, music, gardening, story time.
The goal is to have fun and create a safe environment for students to learn and feel confident.
