Do you want to learn how to speak Tagalog with proper pronunciation and intonation? In this course, we'll use popular Tagalog songs as a way to practice the correct pronunciation of words and phrases.
Discover the sounds and rhythm of Tagalog while singing! I'll guide you through learning songs from different genres — from OPM classics to contemporary hits. Each day, we'll study the lyrics of a song, focus on challenging words and sounds, and then sing together for practice.
This isn't just about pronunciation — you'll also learn about the culture surrounding the songs, and gain confidence in using everyday Tagalog expressions.
No musical experience necessary! As long as you're willing to join in with the songs and learn, this course is perfect for you.

Nahihirapan ka bang bigkasin nang tama ang Tagalog? Ito na ang solusyon! Gagamitin natin ang mga sikat na kanta para matuto kang magsalita ng Tagalog nang parang lokal!
Habang kinakanta mo ang mga paborito mong OPM, unti-unti mong makukuha ang tamang bigkas at tono. Sisimulan natin sa mga madaling kanta, tapos dahan-dahan tayong pupunta sa mas mahirap na lyrics. Pero relax ka lang, dahil pramis, mag-eenjoy ka pa rin!
Araw-araw, may bagong kanta tayong pag-aaralan. Titignan natin ang mga salitang mahirap sabihin, yung mga tunog na wala sa English, at pati na rin yung mga slang at kolokyal na ekspresyon na ginagamit ng mga Pinoy.
Di lang 'to basta klase—parang hang-out din tayo habang nagkukwentuhan tungkol sa kuwento sa likod ng mga kanta at kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng mga linya ng kanta.
No need maging magaling kumanta! Kahit sintunado ka, okay lang 'yan! Ang importante, game ka sumali at matuto.
