Some topics shape us more than we realize — and for many of us, religion, sexuality, and culture are the three pillars that decide who we’re “allowed” to be.
This class is where we put all three on the table.
Here, you and I talk openly about how these forces affect your life:
How were you raised?
What were you taught to believe?
What have you questioned?
What have you accepted?
What have you outgrown?
What still scares you?
What still guides you?
We compare experiences across countries — Jamaica, Japan, the rest of Asia, and the wider world, and explore how religion shapes identity, how sexuality clashes with tradition, and how culture influences everything from relationships to self-worth.
If you’ve ever felt confused, conflicted, or curious, this space is for you.
You speak freely.
You think deeply.
I guide you the whole way; gently, respectfully, and without judgment.
This is not a debate unless you want it to be.
