Let's chat ! (short discussion) / Bavardons! (discussion courte)

No time to work on your french last week? Not a big deal, if you still want to practice your french, I always enjoy nice talks ;-)
This lesson is for everyone. According to your level, I'll send you before the class, the theme of our discussion (in that way, you'll have time to prepare if you want ^^). You can also decide yourself what you'd like to talk about. During the class, we'll try to stick to that theme as much as possible. I'll correct your prononciation and teach you vocabulary related to the topic.
- For beginners, we'll mainly talk about casual things.You should be able to speak about yourself :
* Can you introduce your family members to me?
* Why are you learning French?
- For intermediate levels, you should be able to hold a long discussion about everydaylife issues.
I give you a topic to prepare and introduce on the day of the class (as in the examples below). After your presentation, we'll extend the discussion with a casual talk on the same topic :
* Introduce a famous character of your country. Do you like him/her and why?
* Can you compare the french gatronomy and the one in your country? Which one do you prefer?
Required skills : to use the different tenses and to make easy comparisons.
- For advanced students, the exercice is the same but you'll most likely have to express an opinion and provide arguments and examples to highlight your point of view on topics like :
* Do you think reading is a loss of time? Explain.
* Smoking should be prohibited everywhere except at home. Don't you agree?
* Should we use computers at school to educate the youth?
* etc.
