Do you enjoy books and reading stories? Then this is the course for you.
We will look at lots of short stories and even some longer books, play with vocabulary and other games and exercises to improve your reading ability.
I will give you all the secret tips and tricks to understanding words you don't know.
When you finish this course you will be ready to read alone without help!

Intermediate to advanced students only
Lesson Outline:
In each lesson we will look at another short story, learn about new vocabulary, practice reading and play games and exercises to improve your understanding. Longer stories and books will be covered over more than one lesson.
Lessons will typically follow this format:
- Introduction to the short story with pictures and discussion
- Prediction exercises based on pictures from the book
- Introduce new vocabulary and pronunciation practice
- Vocabulary matching exercise
- Practice of reading and pronunciation
- Additional games and exercises to internalise new vocabulary and structures
- Role-play/acting out extracts from the story
- Extended writing activity to use what has been learnt
