This is a 2-in-1 lesson. The first part of the class covers a review of your written summary of the article (submitted before class). The second part of the class discusses the news article.

This class covers skills in speaking, reading and writing.
There are 2 parts to the class
The first part of the class and covers a written summary of the article you have. You will be encouraged to read the entire article before class and summarize it in your own worda in 150 to 250 words. I will provide detailed corrections on your summary on vocabulary , grammar, sentence structures, spelling etc. we will review the corrections together.
In the second part of the class, we will go through some questions related to the news article to test understanding and have a discussion on your views. We will also cover words and phrases in the article that you do not understand. If you're an advanced student, some news articles, you may wish to practice expressing your opinions on the article you read .
