PHYSICAL & MENTAL ORGANIZATIONAL TACTICS FOR THE MODERN MIND

OVERVIEW: It is fairly common to become distracted and disorganized in the modern world. People are constantly exposed to a sea of information, entertainment, media, and personal interests, that we sometimes loose focus on what is important in our lives. Not only do we feel mentally disorganized, our physical space can also become a state of disarray. We often cut corners when trying to complete tasks, and we can end up making more work for ourselves than necessary. Basic life tasks like laundry, cooking, and cleaning, often fall by the wayside, and tasks pile up that lead to a state of burnout that most modern adults experience in all cultures. From the ancient wisdom of Feng Shui to mental aspects such as Attention Mechanics, students can apply both physical and mental methods to ensure that their lives stay in order both physically and mentally.
TEACHING STYLE: There can be a formal structure covering the main topics listed below. The second half of the session can be dedicated to personal questions they may have about certain topics that personally interest them. We can customize the information for the student to get the most out of the class from a one time session to many sessions.

Attention Mechanics - Modern methods of focus and attention
Psychological aspects of organization & cleanliness.
Personal question and answer sessions with students about personal organization.
POTENTIAL STUDENTS: People looking to streamline their mental and physical spaces. I can work with the student as a personal organizational coach, or it can be seen as an informational class where broad topics are covered, and then the student then applies the information and tactics as they see fit in their personal lives.
