Listening and conversation practice
課程介紹
The lesson is suitable for intermediate level students and above (A2 on CEFR, or 5 and above on IELTS).
The topic can be chosen before the lesson, or decided at the beginning of the lesson.
The lesson involves listening to an audio recording, or real language media (for example a news report), and exercises are used to test understanding.
The recording is played during the lesson rather than being shared before the lesson, as the intention is to practice immediate comprehension. But the recordings are short (2-3 minutes), so they do not take up too much of the lesson time.
Any new vocabulary and grammar will be taught.
At the end of the lesson there is the opportunity for conversation practice on the particular theme of the lesson, and the new vocabulary and grammar that were covered.
