I want to tell you about this fun reading lesson! If you would like, I think it would be a pleasant experience for you to read "Lois Lowry's" groundbreaking book. You will be improving your English at the same time! The Giver was on the Bestseller List for an extended period of time and has won the 1994 Newberry Award.

[How the lesson works:]


I am not making this lesson a Value Pack (including a set number of lessons) because it is impossible for me to guess how long it will take each student to read 192 pages. As a result, I decided to divide the lesson up into 50-minute sessions. You can drop in to read a few chapters whenever you want and wait on the edge of your seat until the next time.


I will ask you questions about the chapter after you read each chapter to check your reading comprehension. This book is not a difficult read with reasonably easy vocabulary. Anyone who can read English will be able to understand the story.
